Meet the Founder

Shelline Jeanty, LMSW

I’m a wife, social worker, entrepreneur, and author who created this practice from a deeply personal place and a desire to bring hope to people carrying heavy life experiences. I bring years of experience in community mental health, schools, and private practice, where I’ve supported teens and adults through trauma-informed, evidence-based care. My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and heard, and where even the hardest parts of your story can help shape healing and growth.

About us

Rooted Truth Counseling is a private practice dedicated to providing mental health therapy. The practice emphasizes that healing is more than just a process, it's a journey back to oneself. We offer a safe space that acknowledges each individual's story focusing on uncovering truth, fostering growth, and creating lasting change.
